Advancing Technology-Based Economic Development in West Virginia

Join TechConnect West Virginia for an overview of how the organization is advancing technology-based economic development across the state.  This webinar will introduce TechConnect's mission, strategic priorities, and evolving role in strengthening West Virginia's innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem.  Attendees will learn how TechConnect works alongside entrepreneurs, startups, universities, investors, and economic development partners to foster collaboration, commercialization, and long-term economic diversification.

Designed for economic development professionals, this session will highlight current programs, partnership opportunities, and ways local and regional organizations can engage with TechConnect to better support tech-enabled businesses and talent in their communities. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of how TechConnect complements existing economic development efforts and helps move ideas, companies, and communities forward in West Virginia.

The webinar will begin on January 14, 2026, at 10:00 am. and will last an hour.
